Looking for the best shopping in Orlando? You’ll find it at the Supermarkets!

Orlando has some fabulous shopping malls, but have you ever spent time taking a serious look around its supermarkets? If not, you’re missing out on some of the best shopping in Orlando!

At Walmart, Target and the like you’ll find everything from clothes, top-of-the-range beauty products, and all kinds of treats that you can only find in the US, at bargain prices compared with back home. And the best bit? Some are even open 24 hours!

Here are 7 reasons all shopaholics should check out Orlando’s supermarkets:

1. Bring a taste of Florida back home with you

Let’s face it – the food is major part of a Florida holiday! From buttermilk pancakes for breakfast to tasty candy snacks, there’s a whole lot to love about American food. What better way to keep the magic of your holiday alive than with a cupboard full of go-to snacks to remind you of your time in Orlando?

Pretzel M&Ms, powdered jello, buttermilk pancake mix along with a couple of boxes of cereal are just a few of the regulars found in my suitcase!

2. Get Disney merchandise and more at better prices than the parks!

If, like me, you like to bring home a souvenir from every place you visit, you’ll love the huge range of choices at the supermarkets! From Disney beach towels to oh-so-cute Tinkerbell mugs – there are plenty of ideas for you and all your friends. Plus the prices are kind to your wallet too.

3. You’ll find just about every make-up item imaginable

From L’Oreal to Covergirl and just about everything in between, the supermarkets are a make-up lover’s heaven. You’ll not only be spoilt for choice – with a range of products much bigger than the UK – you’ll also be able to save £££s on all your usual favourites.

4. The clothes rival those of the high street stores…

Looking for a few extra outfits for your holiday, or some stylish staples that you won’t find at home? You’re sure to find something you like at the supermarket!

In my opinion, Super Target has the biggest range of fashion wear with similar styles to that of H&M, New Look and Burton in the UK (plus a little bit cheaper!)

5. …while the accessories finish off your super-stylish look

From shoes to bags and trendy belts, the supermarkets have it all. I’ve also been known to pick up a pair of shades there as well – the hardest part was choosing from the huge selection of 100+ styles and colours. Of course, being so affordable, why buy one when you can buy three?!

6. Gym lovers will love the fab sportswear and branded accessories

When you find a bargain you’ve got to buy it – I assure you, you WILL be able to squeeze it into that suitcase! From yoga mats to gym pants and cool workout gadgets, I’ve found them all in Orlando’s supermarkets.

While Super Target is great for stylish, quality gym clothes – similar to the shapes and styles you’d find with major sports brands like Nike – Walmart is great for branded accessories.

7. You’ll find everything under one roof

When you’re on an action-packed holiday in Florida, you certainly don’t have time to go from store to store and mall to mall to find everything you’re looking for. This is the ultimate reason why the best shopping in Orlando is at the supermarket – they have it all!

My top supermarket shopping tip:

Stop by on your last day before your flight home and fill up your case with all those bargains and Florida essentials.

Happy Shopping!
