Some Disney fans may have heard that Fantasyland at Walt Disney World is undergoing a bit of an expansion. Well, Disney have announced a soft opening ahead of the official unveiling in Magic Kingdom.
Taking three years to create, this new area of the park will include a Little Mermaid dark ride, a Seven Dwarfs roller coaster and an updated version of the popular Dumbo ride. Whats more, there will also be an area inspired by the village from Beauty and Beast, so guests can really feel as if they are part of the fairy tale.
Although work is expected to continue into late 2013 and early 2014 Disney will most likely open the new area gradually over this time. Other attractions in the pipeline are the Goofy Barnstormer kiddie coaster, the revamped Fantasyland station of the Walt Disney World Railroad, the Princess Fairytale Hall and the Be Our Guest restaurant.
We have a lot to look forward to from Walt Disney World over the next few years and we cant wait to see all the great new stuff that will be arriving, much to the delight of Disney fans all over the world.
